What is BMI?
Body Mass Index (BMI) is an international measure used to determine if a person is at a healthy weight. It's calculated by dividing weight (kg) by height (meters) squared.
How to interpret BMI results?
WHO BMI classification: below 18.5 is underweight; 18.5-24.9 is normal; 25-29.9 is overweight; above 30 is obese.
BMI limitations
BMI doesn't account for body composition. A muscular person may have a high BMI without being overweight.
